15-STOREY APARTMENT COMPLEX
A 15-storey hotel/apartment complex. Levels 1-13 consist of a concrete structure with external decks, which forms the original part of the construction. Levels 14 and 15 were added late 1990’s and consist of a light weight timber framing and direct fixed fibre cement claddings.
The works required involve the removal and replacement of the external cladding, deck membranes and balustrades and replacement of the main roof membrane. August Millard provided in-depth design solutions for the Body Corporate to retain and add value to the building and meet the desired outcome.
Practical completion to level 14/15 apartments achieved March 2019. Ongoing minor works to other areas due for completion June 2019.
